2017 Training Schedule
Facilitating for Results: December 4-6, 2017
Leadership increasingly means using interpersonal skills to get things done. That often involves helping teams work together – and that often leads to … meetings.
There is an increasing need for education on how to lead effective, efficient, and even enjoyable meetings. That’s because, far too frequently, meetings turn into unfocused, unproductive time sumps.
Signs of a bad meeting:
- Missing a clear purpose
- Lasts too long
- Gets sidetracked by non-crucial or irrelevant topics
- Does not result in a plan for follow-up
In our half-day workshop, you’ll learn the basic components of strong, productive meetings and how to use them appropriately in six different types of meetings.
Whether for a weekly staff meeting, teleconferencing from different corners of the world, or coming together for an annual off-site planning session, these components scale up or down. Learn the basic techniques, and you’ll be prepared to lead effective meetings of any size.
The workshop fee of $175 includes all materials and course instruction.
If your organization’s meetings need to be improved across the board, consider engaging us to come on site and work with a group of up to 20 people, training them to plan and conduct effective meetings. Contact Karen Wunderlin for a quote at 502.895.3689 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
