Tatia D. Granger, Ph.D., PCC

Tatia is a leadership coach, and organizational behavior expert, coaching others to personal and professional clarity. She believes in her clients’ capacity for growth, and that micro-steps lead to macro-change. Her extensive academic and applied knowledge make her an ideal partner for leaders looking to visualize, plan, and move toward their “sense of better”.

Tatia has more than 25 years of experience from higher education, nonprofit talent development, management consulting, and volunteer leadership in community and civic organizations. Dr. Granger serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in Organizational Behavior at the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary. Prior to joining the faculty, she served as the inaugural University Ombuds at William & Mary where she endeavored to create a work environment of greater satisfaction through effective conflict management and communication strategies. Throughout her career, she has sought and appreciated opportunities to advocate for professional access and accomplishment through collaborative work with a focus on maximizing the results of diverse professional teams. She is especially committed to actively supporting the ethical foundations of coaching and welcomed the opportunity to serve as adjunct faculty to co-teach the Ethics in Coaching course in Georgetown’s program. Dr. Granger’s commitment to leadership development through coaching has also led her to hold an adjunct faculty appointment with the Center for Creative Leadership.

Tatia Granger is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialed by the International Coach Federation, and a graduate of the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Program. She proudly earned three degrees from the University of Virginia (BA, MEd & PhD), and serves as a member of the University of Virginia Alumni Association Board of Managers.
